I am optimist ,happy in my own skin ,I have been a widow for some years and while I have many friends, I seek a special person to make the most of the time we have left in this world . I love being by the sea ,nothing like a beach walk , enjoy theatre, cinema ,art galleries , National Trust , eating out , I have travelled to many places but there's a world of wonder still to be explored .Family is important and I so enjoy time together but I am independent ., I hope my friends would say I am happy , generous and kind .,
I left school at sixteen, worked in the city, after child rearing I went to university and became a teacher I loved teaching and went on to be the Headteacher of a large London Primary school, Latterly, I became a school adviser I have finally retired so more time to make the most of my retirement but am sure it is infinitely better to share with a special person ..
I was born and bred in London and believe there is no where better than our wonderful capital and all it has to over .Equally I love to be near the coast and have a seaside home by the sea ..
I do not have a pet of my own but at times my daughter's dog comes to stay, he loves our beach walks ..
I have been a widow for seven years ,I met Ian when I was seventeen ,so he was the only man in my life ,we were married for 47 years . Several years after my husband's passing
' new man came into my life and we shared many happy times together ,sadly he passed away over a year ago ,At least I know I was able to establish a good relationship after a long and happy marriage .
I do want to extend my longevity so try to eat healthily and take plenty of exercise .,
