I have realised that I originally completed all these forms half heartedly during Covid so must now apply myself more ably!
I’m prone to wear my heart on my sleeve & be too open at times, thus am now more wary. My friends say that I am kind, empathetic, positive, interesting & sociable & I feel lucky to have them all in support but would very much like a special pal to share similar interests & opinions with & eventually (hopefully!) get to understand each other well.
The arts & culture are my main interests & I also aim to keep up-to-date with current affairs. I enjoy reading newspapers & listening to the radio. Not much on TV holds my attention except the occasional documentary but because of my apathy I do occasionally miss a good programme or two.
I am less ‘outdoorsy’ of late, due to aching/ageing limbs but am currently Nordic Walking in an effort to keep myself in shape. I am told that I do not look my age which is obviously gratifying & long may these kind comments continue.
I thoroughly enjoy the cinema, theatre, exhibitions, museums, visiting NT properties & am currently attending an Art History course. I have little understanding of sport.
I was self employed until the age of 70 & now try to fill my time cheerfully, spending much of it with younger folk who aim to keep me on my toes.
I hope this now gives a more accurate picture of me than the previous gloomy ‘lockdown’ version! I survived that period by adopting a stray cat who has turned out to be my best friend.
