I am quite amusing and sometimes witty, but never deliberately unkind or acerbic. I can always see the other point of view. It means that although I can be impetuous and spontaneous, I am often also measured and thoughtful. In fact, I am full of many contradictions, which surprise me sometimes!
I do like to flirt and to gently tease but I'm not indiscriminate! I can be affectionate and indeed passionate with someone with the right chemistry. I know I start off really quite shy, but underneath I'm a strong man.
I have a job which I enjoy but I would love to learn more about music and world cinema, about gardens and gardening, and travel, but so much more fun to do that with someone who wants to share life's experiences, laugh at me at times but mostly laugh with me, make me giggle. I have a lot to give and am definitely looking for some reciprocity.

In terms of who I would like to meet it’s hard to know until you meet the right person and experience the chemistry, that spark but basically I’m looking for a best friend I fancy the pants off.
Fabulous, in her own way, quietly intelligent, kind, compassionate, charming, happy, confident, positive, generally an all-round fun woman. A partner, someone I can share with, learn from, compromise with, grow with, who challenges and inspires me, laughs with me, laughs at me and reminds me not to be a buffoon when I’m being a total buffoon. Someone with a penchant for getting excited or passionate about things whether it’s entirely appropriate at the time or not.
