About her
I am a creative person who enjoys reading books on philosophy, the arts, ethics, nature and world events. I enjoy gardening, writing poetry and painting. I believe it's important to stay proactive as at an older age we have time to explore the more spiritual and emotional side of life with many years of experience behind us.
I enjoy making a nice meal or been cooked for, with nice wine or a gin and tonic in company, and talking about what really matters in life with humour, music and lots of laughter. I am light hearted and enjoy taking an interest in people. My children have all become unique individuals with families of their own, and now I would still treasure finding someone I can connect with. I enjoy gardening, some walking, sailing with my family occasionally and visiting my family in different parts of the UK, including Scotland. I used to travel around in my camper van, but this would more fun with a companion these days.
After many years on my own I realise life is still there to live and the one thing missing from my life has been a loving friendship with a companion who would like to share laughter and love.

I enjoy the company of men who have a sense of humour and the ability to be gentle and sincere. Sharing books, poetry, walks, or tea and talking about our families and our life experiences. Someone intellectual rather than sporty would be a preference as I have never an interest in sport.
Finding someone to share the softer side of life after many years of being a mum and grandmother would be really great. I have never been lucky enough to find a soul mate who I can share a close connection with. I would still like to find someone I can share ideas with, the more mystical and meaningful side of life, and laughter. There are no deal breakers, other than needing someone to be sincere and caring. I enjoy corresponding by email, or phone calls (no mobile reception on Dartmoor).
