About her
I am friendly, kind and caring, enjoy helping others and very easy going. I love nature and prefer to be outside in the fresh air. I do spend a lot of time in my garden, growing vegetables as well as flowers. My main hobby since being widowed has been growing Bonsai trees. I am a good homemaker, can cook well and enjoy various handy crafts.
I have recently taken up golf again, but I am not very good, but I am working on that!
I have a small dog who I enjoy taking for walks twice a day which helps to keep me fit.
I enjoy days out visiting Garden Centres but I much prefer to go with someone for company.
I enjoy helping fiends who are struggling to cope with their gardens.
Latterly I have done a lot of property renovations, doing a lot of the work myself as I enjoy DIY and making things.
I have had a very varied life. I trained in Horticulture and then ended up being self employed for the majority of my life, running various businesses in different parts of the UK, so I have moved around a lot over the years but have been in Ross for the past nine years where one of my children lives.
I think I am very easy going and take each day as it comes.
I am a member of the local U3A and I am the Membership Secretary for our local theatre in Ross which is just starting up again after such a long break. I also help them with set building as I enjoy doing creative activities.
Finally don't be put off by my age - it is only a number. People say I don't look my age and certainly I am not ready for my bath chair yet! I am on the go all day and like to think that I am pretty fit and healthy. I am a very positive person and love spontaneity in a person, so I am always ready to get up and go or try something new.

I would like to meet someone who has some of the same interests as me and who is warm hearted, kind, caring of others, spontaneous and has a good sense of humor.
They must be a lover of animals and appreciative of nature in general.
Initially it would be nice to have a companion to go out and about with as I don't find it any fun going places alone.
I like someone who is clean and tidy about their person and is happy to dress up for a special occasion.
I like someone who can have an intelligent conversation and is happy to express their opinions in an open and honest way.
