About her
I happily retired 5 years ago. I enjoy outings which involve exploring and travelling in the UK and abroad too. Themed holidays are enjoyable too: ie Bauhaus centenary or nooks and crannies of Rome. Other hobbies are gardens and gardening, history, music, dancing, attempts at DIY (get a great sense of achievement if I can successfully rehang a cupboard door or fix a nail in the wall). In addition I like live concerts, art in general, comedies, films and animals. I very much enjoy my grandchildren and love making friends.

Someone with zest for life, positive and willing to learn new things. Someone who appreciates family life and the welfare of children and animals. Someone preferably with left wing views and freestyle dancing would be a bonus. I cannot do ballroom dancing as I don't feel much inspired by the accommpanying music. Someone who is solvent and independent is important to me. I respect other peoples' religion and like to visit places of worship with historical interest but thats as far as it goes. A companion to go exploring and be happy to chill out with sounds good.
