I think I'm fun to be around, though not a raving extrovert. I try always to be kind and honest. I'm loving and loyal. I'm the world's most doting grandma! I enjoy yoga, music (especially classical and folk), walking (though I'm a slow walker, partly because I like to keep stopping and looking), theatre, gardening, travel and writing poetry (just about to start sending my first collection out to publishers - you're never too old for something new!). I've got a reasonably good brain, and I enjoy using it. I'm centre-left politically and a sceptical Buddhist. I try to be tolerant and understanding of other people, though I don't always find it easy!

I like men who are both gentle and strong. I value honesty and kindness, and a good strong sense of humour and the ridiculous. If my match has children I'd want them to be important to him. I'd like to go walking with a partner, maybe dance with him, discuss books/music/ideas/politics - everything really. I'd really rather not be with a smoker or anyone with an alcohol problem.
