My life has not followed a traditional path in that I left school early but returned to study at 40 eventually becoming a college lecturer in Psychology. I then went on to train within the NHS as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist, then did a 2nd degree in Fine Art. I'm warm natured, broadly socialist in values, love music (classical, 60s, 70s, jazz) and play ukulele with the local u3a. I have 2 cats but would love the right breed of dog. I'm in regular contact with my son (lives in China) and daughter (in Barcelona) and love seeing my grandchildren whenever I can.

How is it possible to say who I might find attractive, chemistry depends upon so many factors. Someone of a similar background or experience to my own in some respect is the basis for compatability of attitudes and values but differences can also have an appeal. I like gentleness and gentlemanly behaviour, enjoy being valued as a woman, however I am not one for heels and shiny nails preferring a more down to earth life though when going out with a partner I like to feel that they think I can look good. I am losing weight in readiness for a knee replacement so watch out for the new me! I am unlikely to want a relationship with a man who prefers being one of the lads, liking a degree of maturity though being able to play is important at any age and if you play live music that would definitely entice me into sharing some evenings with you.
