About him
I'm easy going with a sense of humour, an easy mixer although I'd describe myself as relatively quiet…thoughtful rather than gregarious. I'm independent, tolerant, apolitical (I read the Guardian occasionally), have no religious faith but have a spiritual/philosophical nature. My friends say I'm kind, loyal, dependable, generous, fun to be with and OCD! I'm artistic and creative…I've been a designer all my life, which reflects my choices and attitude towards living…it's all part of the creative process for me.
My passions include art, architecture, design, history, photography and visiting museums and galleries. A keen Japanophile, I love walking in the countryside or by the sea, gardening (I've recently created a small contemplative Japanese garden), travelling to new or familiar places, reading (usually have at least three books on the go), but most of all I love to dance, which I've been doing three times a week for the past seven years, barring lockdowns!
I prefer radio to TV but I do like to watch the occasional quiz, documentary or feature film. Love listening to music of all kinds, it stirs the soul.
I dearly miss having someone to share all that life has to offer. I'm a very affectionate and physical being and I enjoy cuddling and holding hands and snuggling up on the sofa. Home is definitely my comfort zone of choice.

Preferably someone who shares some of my interests but not essential, as it would be lovely to develop interests together. Someone who enjoys communicating their thoughts, ideas and feelings and is comfortable within themselves. Intelligent with a sense of modesty, attractive in their own unique way and young at heart. Finally, I would welcome someone with children/grandchildren as I have none of my own.
