I hate trying to sell myself but here I go -
I'm kind and compassionate. I am a really good listener. Equally I enjoy a good natter and a heart to heart conversation.
I get on really well with all my colleagues at work and have a good circle of friends who are very important to me and I like to catch up with them on a regular basis.
I enjoy the cinema and theatre particularly musicals
I am trying to re learn how to play the piano and am having to start from scratch. I haven't even started on re kindling my clarinet playing.
Eating out is always high on the agenda. I love pub grub and Chinese. Afternoon tea is a favourite of mine.
I enjoy going for a walk but 2 hours is enough. I'm not into going out for an all-day hike. Swimming regularly helps to keep me fit but I have to say that I am a slow plodder in the pool. In the warmer weather I enjoy swimming in the local swimming lake. I love going to the coast. One of my favourite areas is Norfolk.
I get that doing crafts, particularly knitting and sewing are not a man thing but I find them really relaxing and a way to chill out. I can also while away an hour or two doing a jigsaw.
I have a wonderful feline friend who rules the house. She was an RSPCA rescue cat and has been with me for around 11 years.
I have never smoked and very rarely drink alcohol. These days I tend to prefer a good cuppa.
I may not be the most attractive lady but I have a great personality and a heart made of gold.
I'd love to initially have a friendship from which love grows.

Looks are not that important to me. A person's personality is extremely important to me. I'd like to meet someone who is warm and kind that would take a real interest in me.
Although I don't have children, I have close relationships with my adult niece and nephew. I'm happy for a new partner to have children/ grand children.
I always feel that within a relationship it is important for to have the opportunity to have joint hobbies as well as being able to pursue a hobby on your own. It is also important to maintain friendships as well as getting to know a new partners friends and family.
