I would like to think that there is more to me than you see at first glance. I have been widowed for more than three years and now ready to find someone to share with me those occasions that couples take for granted. As a writer I spend a lot of time on my own, so to find someone would be great. I like to walk in the countryside and to travel abroad. I also like eating out, but not on my own. I like honesty in people, but dislike falseness. I am very open about myself and expect that of others. I would like to find someone who shares my values.

I would like to find someone with similar values to my own, looks are less important than what is behind the face. If that person could also make me laugh then it would be a good start to a friendship. Conversation and a good sense of humour is a must, and an interest in nature, the outdoors and history would be a bonus. Someone who is outgoing, with a lust for life, but still enjoys cosy nights in would be the ideal.
