About him
I am an authentic, self knowing, well balanced gentleman, who treats people with respect, dignity and compassion. I am looking for a genuine connection with a self knowing, self loving woman, who wants to learn and enjoy experiences with me and get the most out of life. I'm far from perfect but open to working on my flaws, particularly if they negatively affect anyone in my sphere of influence/connection.
I enjoy reading and watching documentaries or movies. I love music, art, crafts, nature, science and philosophy (not a complete list!).
I like to go for walks in the countryside, as well as visiting cities to experience cultural aspects.
I enjoy participating in physical activities like tennis, fellwalking, skiing, cycling etc. albeit at a more leisurely pace than in the past!
I am very romantic, tactile and compassionate, but also very practical and logical. Kindness shouldn't be mistaken for weakness though, I am not going to be mistreated by anyone, nor will I mistreat anyone else.
I believe life is probably a one off event, so I aim to continuously improve mine and that of those around me.

There obviously needs to be mutual attraction, some common interests might be an advantage, but the ability to blend with each others preferences will be the key to a successful relationship. I need someone who is emotionally available and capable of expressing her needs and wants articulately, without unrealistic expectations of her partner being able to " mind read"!
A high EQ and IQ would be an advantage but common sense is a necessity, as is a sense of humour and irony.
