About him
I have enjoyed an interesting and adventurous life, travelling widely, working and living in USA, Middle East, Australia and New Zealand. Still enjoy travelling to new places and exploring. Prefer short haul trips to Europe these days but would take a loner flight for an extended vacation.
We live in a country full of interesting towns and villages with some great countryside. I like to make excursions to explore and doing simple things like a summer picnic, walking the dogs in new places, or a long weekend in a comfortable hotel, dining with a companion and enjoying fine wine after a day of adventure. There are many romantic settings to visit.
My lifetime interests have been sailing and cars. I have been fortunate to sail the entire west coat of Britain, and round Ireland, visiting interesting ports in my yacht. There have been interesting cars to enjoy and still have one such.
Friends say I am special, a good raconteur, and congenial company.
My home life involves managing my large garden, cooking interesting meals for myself, and when around a companion. Home entertaining is fun, particularly summer garden parties, but it would be more so with a loving companion as hostess.
After a demanding long career I still keep the grey cells working as chair of a small trust.
Fit and active I look forward to many more adventures.
While rather old fashioned and reserved I am romantic and very much enjoy affection and cuddles.
