About him
I am a serious person and, to be honest, quite shy. Having moved around, the country, I don’t feel defined by any particular region. Although I have family nearby, I miss adult conversation. Currently I have 2 dogs that I exercise daily either on the beach or the hills.
I qualified as a mathematician and spent 35 years in research establishments. I retired early and moved to North Wales.
Moved to Somerset about 10 years ago.
OK, I’m getting on a bit but I hope to enjoy my remaining years.

I am hoping to meet someone who is prepared to go out in the rain - the dogs don’t care! Obviously, if we meet up, you’ll have to be prepared to be assessed by my dogs (mad spaniels) and if you have a sporty dog, I’m sure they’ll get along.
One of my sons lives in Australia so, if you have friends or family over there, we could consider flying round the world together.
