I’m a widower, retired and genuinely enjoying my days. I’m an outdoors man and I like to stay active—whether that’s a brisk walk, a round of golf, or just getting out for fresh air when the weather’s kind. I’m based in Cheshire , but originally from Yorkshire and travel back there several times a year, and because of my previous work I had the chance to travel widely and see a great deal of the world. I still enjoy planning small adventures closer to home.
At heart, I’m family-minded. I have a grown-up family, and I’ve always valued warmth, decency, and a steady, kind approach to life. I’m also big on humour—laughing together comes naturally to me—and I enjoy comfortable conversation as much as relaxed downtime.
Outside of walking and golf, I’m kept busy with gardening, and renovating my house .
