About her
Well, here goes, this is me, as honestly as I can describe myself...... I'm very easy going and happy go lucky, but grounded at the same time, love to smile and laugh through the good times and I am always optimistic even when times are not so good.
I have raised two daughters by myself as my husband died when they were both very young. They have grown up into 2 young beautiful women now and they are both been very successful in their careers. I have been a successful business woman and for the last 5 years have renovated a farmhouse in Spain totally single handed. It has been quite lonely at times but I am proud of what I have achieved and it has taught me to be strong, resourceful and totally independent.
I'm not materialistic, I don't measure wealth in terms of possesions. I value health, happiness and the simple things in life. The cloudscapes I see at work, the smell of fresh bread, walks along deserted shorelines, mountain top fresh air, the laughter of friends, or a smile across a candle lit table. I'm a very down to earth, outgoing and I love to make people laugh.
In my spare time, I like to walk, jog, play golf and I paint in all mediums. I also love taking photographs of people, different types of architecture and landscapes.
What makes me laugh? Every day situations, like when I was telling a friend on the telephone that I do not socialise much as I have no one to go out with and my 3 year old grandson, who was listening to the conversation replied 'I will take you out to a dance nanny'
I am hoping to meet an honest man of integrity that can enhance my life.
I am moving back to the UK to Chesterfield in May or June 2021 so I am hoping to meet someone back in the UK after my return.
