I love life and grateful for my health and what I do have.
Been on my own for a couple of years now and getting to like living with me for a change!
Now ready to share my space with another, enjoy laughter and fun together and simply - just 'be' together. Feel it is healthy to have one's own interests and enjoy your own space.
Love walking, hiking, tennis, travelling, family, trees, sea, mountains, art,
oil painting, galleries, opera, ballet, theatre, Austria, cooking, dining with friends, playing bridge, Venice, Spain, ambling along a beach, photography, water colour painting, live music,giving, laughing, and surprises.
Cannot be pidgeon holed. I do not belong to anything....like to feel free. I take each person on merit so tend not to belong to a 'group'.
Like people, spontaneous fun and getting a high out of simple pleasures...
...and that's just for a start.
Lived and worked in Vienna for 10 years, have spent much of the last 20 years travelling and working in Africa, US and Europe ,mostly in Spain.
Produce videos for charities to help them raise awareness....hence my time in Africa and India however .moved from Dorchester, Dorset after living there for 10 years, to London and now Folkestone recently.
Like to hear and explore the cities history, heritage and architecture....so many lovely walks along the river.
I feel I am very lucky to be here and look forward to hearing all about you.

Ideal.....well.....tall, fit, kind, likes the unexpected, happy to be alone, can say how you feel, is tactile, adventurous....lets hike in the Alps, or walk along the Jurassic coastline, enjoy a play or concert, take a 4x4 and cross some desert, cuddle on a sofa watching a film, jump on a canal boat and head for Chester,or then and just for a change....sit on beach and watch the sun go down, keeping our bottle of wine chilled at the end of a string in the water.
Thing is, we are most likely to have grown up children and if they love us will want the best for us, which is not to be alone and find companionship and a 'mate'.

I do not stop doing things just because I am on my own ......now I'd like to share my experiences with someone who I find special and worth my time, respect and love.
I find it too complicated to list a load of characteristics that one must have.......I guess the only things I cannot stand are injustice, meanness and dishonesty......oh and jealousy.
Thing is, if we like the same things and on the same wave-length.....things will happen. I'm thinking of finding a friend first...then a lover!
