About her
I have been single for a while, and reasonably happy - busy & interesting life with varied work, family and volunteering commitments. Retired now, from a professional career, I have been enjoying this new 'free time', though recently 'the virus' had turned things a bit up-side-down. Obviously a loving and caring companion to share future life adventures going forward would be absolutely wonderful.
In mid-2015 I was slightly 'early retired' and felt 'free as a bird'. To celebrate I went on a four months touring and volunteering trip to China, Indo-China and India. Since then I have enjoyed the adventure of travelling and some volunteer work in India, South America, Africa and Europe.
Home pastimes include : rambles/walks, theatre and film showings, various 'important to myself' volunteering escapades and paid ‘just to keep myself busy’ work endeavours, aqua-fit and playing badminton. I haven’t skied, played hockey, lacrosse, tennis or table tennis for quite a few years - again !?! I would also eventually like to pursue getting back into painting, pottery, and short-story writing - some day.
'Lock-down' meant loads more baking, started experimenting with a small vegetable garden, and interesting ancestry research. Also build a garden extension and added roof solar panels.
Life is interesting ! Beng single and retired I am enjoying experiencing life in it's many forms. What next.. ‘bring it on’ !
Originaly coming from an agricultural background (Canada & Scotland) I absolutely enjoy the countryside, although I do enjoy going out for dinner and to the theatre and other events. I am both a serious and "love a laugh" person. "Life is for living" but also carries responsibilities.

It would be great to meet someone who could take me out of myself, to enjoy other company, to see and experience other aspects of life that I haven't thought about, and above all to love and enjoy being with. Someone who is comfortable with who they are; what they want out of life; happy personality; enjoys life; has a warm and uncritical personality (accepts others for their diversities).
It would be lovely to have a warm, considerate, cosying-in partner for life going forward. To lovingly share what life has yet to offer.
