About him
I am a retired policeman looking for a lady who loves voyages to scenic lands.I particulary like foreign cultures that have good food ,and beautiful art and architecture.I also like countries which are rich in history.Some of my favourite destinations are places where I can indulge my love of aquatic activities .I was brought up abroad, and was fortunate to have parents who travelled a lot so I got a taste for it from an early age.I have been to the Americas,Africa,Asia and ,of course,Europe.I believe that life should be lived to the full if possible.If I were to die tomorrow I would say that I have achieved my aim so far.I am lucky that my life has been one of wonderful experiences and encounters right from the very start.Whether it was playing with my pet monkey as a child in Africa , snorkelling with wild dolphins or diving with mantas as they do their graceful ballet,I have had an interesting life on the whole .I now hope to continue my journey through life meeting new people and discovering new places here in the UK and overseas.
