I can spell,my name is a pun
am a very happily retired lady ( retired from teaching) . I loved my job but relish the freedom that retirement has given me.
I have travelled to far away places and had many European holidays. I always enjoy holidays of all kinds but am equally content at home.
I garden and I cook, for enjoyment and relaxation but I much prefer pursuing creative things to polishing and cleaning.
Since retirement I have found many new interests, mainly creative with art and textiles. I play crown green bowls and love the theatre.
I do not like pretension or snobbery.
My son is grown and lives abroad. My ex husband lives quite near and we are now good friends and I am pleased that my life isn't marred by bitterness as is the case with some divorcees.
I have a lot to offer in friendship and fun (or a more serious relationship.). I am not promiscuous but would like a full relationship in all senses . I like a man who is demonstrative without being sloppy or fawning.
I go to the gym regularly.
I am told that I am youthful in attitude and looks . I am not obsessed with looks but do like to make the most of myself and will not be grey for a while (unless they stop producing tint)

My ideal match would be lively man, with thoughts of others and an open attitude on life.
Confidence can be an asset but shyness would not deter. Gentleness, humour and good manners are a definite turn -on
I dislike braggarts and aggressive people and prefer tolerance to lack of it.
It would be nice to have some shared interests ( painting, bowls, theatre but NOT essential)
I like a man who is tactile and demonstrative ( even passionate when appropriate) but not fussy.
I would quite like a relationship which was close when together but which allowed us both our own time.
My partner would have to regard my interests and pastimes to be at least as important as his own, but I would not necessarily expect mutual participation.
I like a man with family values but in the past have found that many men on here are so involved with their families as to not have time to give to a relationship which is rather difficult.
