I would describe myself as extrovert & bubbly but equally also can be serious and enjoy a good conversation and debate and I love pub quizzes but dont think I am an asset especially when it comes to Sport/Music !!
I am not emotionally "needy" - and feel strongly that you dont have to be in each others pockets 24/7 to enjoy a strong bond.
So.... if you get to know me you will find I am: Independent , assertive and intelligent, woman - but dont let that put you off as I am also extremely caring, genuine and a good listener with a loving nature. I have worked in a "caring profession" and have also been a carer for my parents, so compassion is part of who I am.
i love all types of theatre but nothing too heavy - musicals, thrillers and light drama, I also like live music but dont get to see much these days ( however, going to see Michael Buble next year as pressy to mysel
cant wait!).
I like the usual :"eating out etc etc" but unashamedly also admit to being a "soap" fan and enjoying nights in with the odd glass of wine here and there!
What makes me me??? Well, I hate bad manners, disrespect, prejudice, intolerance and dishonesty. I am not materialistic at all, however after years as a single mum as now my kids are grown and independent I am not adverse to enjoying myself with what I have earned the hard way. In other words I value what I have but am not driven by it!
I am upfront, and what you see is what you get. I take others as I find them and hope they do the same with me.
Most importantly, whilst my life is full and I am content - there is that missing "link" that I am still very hopeful I will find so....if you are in this for the same reason and think we may be a match, please consider contacting me.

Someone who would share some of my interests particularly going occasionally to the theatre and who would like someone to share the occasional jaunt to places of interest round and about as well as cuddles on the sofa and just having someone to do everyday things with would be nice especially if he doesnt object to coming to Tesco with me !
I hope you would be someone with intelligence whilst you would also be able to maintain a sense of humour and have the ability to make me smile as I find that very attractive!
You would need to be a confident person who is not arrogant or full of their own self importance. A person that respects and shares my values (see above) . I am not bothered if you work or are retired but you should not view monetary gain as the ultimate goal as that is not an attractive thing in my eyes.
You should be honest and have integrity (no "game players" please) and be someone who looks beneath the surface and values the spiritual/emotional elements to someone rather than the physical perfection everyone seems to worship today (although I appreciate being physically attractive to each other is of course important!)
I would want someone who is taller than myself (over 5ft 9) but other than that - I dont want to be too prescriptive about looks for the reasons I have stated.
