Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in one piece, in an attractive, well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolates in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming - WHOOOOO WHAT A RIDE!
Well - that's got your attention - so thanks for reading my profile. I am an independant lady living a full and active life. I love dancing, disco, ballroom, line dancing, just give me the music and off I go. Theatre, exhibitions and cinema with u3a keep my mind and soul refreshed. I belong to a book club, so reading, especially with a nice cool glass of something, is a regular past-time for me. Music from Bryan Adams, Michael Buble, Bette Midler and Queen are my favourites, but I can listen to anything and move to the beat. I walk every morning with my little dog, who allows me to drag him around the local park, and swimming regularly helps to keep me fit.
There are still so many things I want to see and do (my bucket list), it would be great to find someone to share these new adventures. A sunset is just a sunset unless you are in the arms of someone special. So, I am looking for that soulmate to share an extraordinary life, in whatever way suits us both.
